What is CRAN?
CRAN Foundation is a private social enterprise that works with Colombia’s National Family Welfare System. Since 1978, we have been working to protect children. As members of civil society, we work together with families and the government to make sure that children and teenagers have all the rights they are entitled to.
At CRAN, we work to ensure that all children grow up in loving families and communities that support them throughout their lives. To this end, we provide shelter when their rights have been violated and protect them temporarily while they recover the rights they have been denied, especially the right to a family. We also develop a prevention program for adults, families, and communities to build safe and loving environments for children.
